How does this work?

Fill out the form
Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the short contact form. I’ll get back to you too as soon as possible so we can iron out the details of your session!
02.
Connect
Before we meet for the session, we’ll have a quick call to break the ice and decide on the details. I want you to feel comfortable and to make sure we're on the same page with your shoot!
03.
The day of
On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet up and get to the location of the session. We’ll talk for a bit while I set up my camera and make sure everything’s perfect. Then we can jump straight into it and get some amazing photos!
04.
Gallery delivery
After we're done, I'll get to work editing your photos. This is the time consuming step. The finished photos will be ready and delivered to you in 1 to 2 weeks. Prints are also available to order in any format and size through my site.
This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.
It's normal to get the jitters thinking about a huge lens staring you down. But we will chat first to get to know each other, and I promise to make you laugh at least once during our shoot.
What should I wear?
Outfit colors should complement the setting rather than blend into it or compete with it. Soft, neutral, earthy tones photograph beautifully. Wear clothing that's dressier than everyday wear. Flowy dresses are fun. I typically don't recommend solid black or dark jeans especially in a dark forest setting. Bring two outfits if possible.
How many pictures will I receive?
For a 1-hour shoot, I generally choose the top 20 photos to fully edit and will provide the high quality digital versions to you. Images are also available for print on a variety of different formats and sizes and will be delivered right to your door.
Are you available outside of Tahoe?
Yes! There are many other amazing locations outside of the Tahoe Basin. If you're thinking of another spot, let's talk!
Are there any extra fees?
The only additional fees would be if you select a location that requires us to get a permit. Otherwise, nope!
Can you recommend any camping sites and hiking trails?
You're speaking my language. Let's chat about awesome spots to camp and hike! I grew up backpacking in Desolation Wilderness each summer with my family, so I have plenty of recommendations to offer.
